ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATION
IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
Abstract:
In the contemporary landscape marked by the pervasive influence of artificial intelligence (AI), technological innovations continue to reshape conventional practices across various domains. Within the realm of human resources management, the intricate process of decision-making has long posed challenges in terms of analytical elucidation. However, the advent of AI technologies has ushered in a new era, offering unprecedented opportunities to augment and refine HR administration practices.
This paper delves into the transformative potential of AI applications within human resources management, shedding light on how diverse AI modalities, including narrow and general AI, are revolutionizing traditional approaches. Through a comprehensive review of literature sourced from esteemed databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar, this study identifies key advancements poised to drive future research endeavors.
Beyond the realm of recruitment, AI presents a myriad of possibilities spanning talent acquisition, employee training and development, performance assessment, compensation management, engagement initiatives, and even employee well-being programs. The synergy between human capabilities and AI integration emerges as a cornerstone for achieving enhanced outcomes, often serving as a determinant for competitive advantage within organizations while also impacting broader societal dynamics.
By exploring the symbiotic relationship between human ingenuity and AI capabilities, this research seeks to elucidate the pathways through which AI-driven innovations can foster organizational excellence and societal progress.

BUSINESS INNOVATION SELF-ASSESSMENT WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT
FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES
Abstract:
This study investigates the role of AI-powered self-assessment tools in enhancing innovation management for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The primary purpose is to provide SMEs with a cost-effective means to assess and develop their innovation capacities across eight key areas strategic orientation, innovation portfolio, innovation process, innovative talent and culture, innovation capabilities, technology adoption, strategic alliances, and innovation performance measurement. Utilizing a qualitative, exploratory approach, data was gathered through a Scopus database search and supplemented with relevant literature on AI and innovation management. Findings reveal that AI-driven assessments based on data analysis, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling significantly benefit SMEs by offering actionable insights and recommendations, enabling efficient decision-making, and promoting competitive dynamism. However, limitations such as data quality, algorithmic bias, and privacy concerns must be carefully managed to avoid potential risks associated with AI implementation. The study discusses the impact of AI on reducing the "innovation divide" by democratizing access to advanced innovation management tools, thus supporting SMEs in achieving strategic growth and market adaptability. This research concludes that AI-driven tools represent a valuable asset for SMEs, bridging gaps in consultancy access, and fostering economic inclusivity.

SOCIETAL IMPACTS AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS OF AI IN THE BUSINESS
Abstract:
Using advanced technologies in general, and AI in particular, are enabling and bringing valuable services and contributions to society in many directions. Likewise, for nature, their contribution is significant in different areas. But, as we consider the positive aspects of AI for society and nature, we must bear in mind that at the same time the advancement of technologies and the use of AI are causing societal side effects and external costs, which are tangible and visibly damaging society and nature. In this presentation, through literature sources and empirical findings, we will highlight the positive and side effects of the application of AI, assessing that the challenge of society and professionals in the field is to minimize side effects and external costs of AI, making the AI beneficial for humanity. The paper conveys the hypothesis that the application of AI Ethics is an effective tool to make AI useful and beneficial both for society and for nature. For this purpose, corporations and businesses of all sizes, must clearly articulate their attitude and behaviour in regard to the use of technologies. The collection of literature, empirical findings, analysis, comparison, generalization, and evaluations will be used as research instruments to testify the idea presented. The paper recommends that business organizations should apply the AI Code of Ethics as an integral part of their daily activity.
